Pigeon transparency report

Reports

The counts, at least every six months. Like a pigeon's output, regular; unlike it, carefully checked.

  • Report 1: as of 24 October 2026, 0 requests received

What every report contains

  1. The date it's true on, and the date it was published.
  2. Requests received, by kind: subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, orders to collect data from now on, preservation requests, emergency requests, requests from outside the US, demands to change the software, civil subpoenas, and removal requests (copyright, Take It Down Act, and others), plus our reports to NCMEC. Every kind is listed, including the zeros.
  3. Accounts affected, and whether any data was produced.
  4. National security requests: in the ranges and after the delays the law sets, once we're allowed to publish them; until then, a plain note saying so.
  5. What we could have handed over: the version of our table in force on that date.
  6. Approved by: Pigeon's owner, who signed it off, and the date.
  7. Corrections, with their dates.
  8. The report as data, with its SHA-256, so anyone can check the page against it.

The format is published as a schema: report.schema.json. A report's counts can't be lower than the published entries it covers; the build checks.
